I’ve had a solid two months away from regular writing work, and it’s time to get myself going again. Graduation is Sunday (huzzah!), so starting Monday, I’m going to aim for about 1,000 words a day everyday. I type fast when I get going, and even if I put down something I don’t like, at least it’ll be out of my system sooner rather than later.
I have a few things to work on right now. The novel’s been stalled for awhile, and I need to get issues 2-5 of Girl Who Loved a Zombie written out. I’ve got a few older pieces I’d like to try and do something with again, and I’ve got a few new ideas as well. In short, there’s plenty to do, and I have only my own unwillingness to do it to blame if it doesn’t get done.
I’m excited to get working again and seeing what happens in the next year or so. I might even finish that damned book.
