Ooligan Press is putting on Write to Publish April 28. The theme is “Step into Genre,” and there’s a full list of author talks, workshops, and all kinds of other good stuff. I’ll probably be working the event in some capacity for the press, and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m a big fan of genre writing, and I’m excited the press is supporting genre writers and wanting to help people figure out how to be genre writers.

Check out the website, and consider entering the flash fiction contest; the winner gets full admission to the event and the top three get to read their pieces. If you recall, I submitted I Should Get a Free Dog for consideration last year. I didn’t take home the prize, but it is my best-selling piece.
